If you’re currently fostering with another agency but are considering a change, FFI is here to support you every step of the way. Switching can feel like a big move, but we make the process straightforward and supportive from day one.
We combine experience, empathy, and practical support to make sure you feel confident and cared for. You will have 24/7 access to professionals, a strong peer community, and an extended team of Therapists, a Children’s Services Team, and an experienced Social Work professionals to back you up. With paid respite, IFCA membership, and opportunities to share your voice, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Learning and Development
FFI have a learning and development plan for all foster carers to support you in caring for the children in your home.

You can avail of respite support of 10 nights per year, per young person if you need it.

Help is always available from our experienced team, day or night. There is 24/7 Social Work support available with support of our management team.

IFCA Membership
FFI pay annual IFCA membership costs which includes legal protection insurance for all of our foster carers.

Following an initial chat, a social worker will call out to meet you and your family to discuss transferring to FFI and what the next steps are.
