Martin James Foundation

Fostering First Ireland are proud to be affiliated with The Martin James Foundation who are working to change the lives of children across the world.

The Martin James Foundation was set up by Jim Cockburn Founder and Chairman of the Key Assets Group with one aim in mind; to make long-term improvements to the lives of children globally. There are 153 million orphaned children and 65.6 million refugees globally, of which over 50% are under the age of 16. The work carried out by the Martin James Foundation will lead to an improvement in the lives of these children as it strives to help with the development and promotion of best practice in family-based and trauma-informed care services.

The Martin James Foundation hopes its work will allow a better chance at life for every one of these children and many more who have not been included in global statistics.
