We create safety through the practice of kind and respectful interactions, working transparently, ensuring best practice and providing a nurturing environment to work in. We believe in supporting connections, fostering predictability, validating peoples’ feelings and taking action where necessary.

We are consistent in our approach, dependable and honest in our interactions. We ensure we operate and make decisions with transparency with the goal of building and maintaining trust. We show integrity in our work. We ensure individuals feel valued, respected, and supported in their interactions with us.

We connect to the experience of others, accept the uniqueness of individuals and their right to be heard and valued. By being empathic, we build a culture of safety, growth and development. We ensure that an empathic approach is central to our practice that supports curiosity and reflection. Through being emotionally attuned we create an open, safe and connected environment.

We recognise the importance of relationships as fundamental to supporting change and the achievement of positive outcomes. We build connections promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration to create an environment that supports healing and growth.

We believe in building resilience and work to empower individuals on their journey to achieve their full potential. We provide them with the tools and resources to enhance their capacity to be active participants in decision making processes. We ensure that our decision-making processes realise the right to active participation by providing opportunities, through which children can be informed, consulted and included in feedback processes on matters affecting them.

We work collaboratively with children, families and communities to effect positive change. We ensure that the voices of all are valued and included in our decision-making processes.

We create supportive and inclusive environments where everyone feels heard, respected, and empowered to contribute to their own well-being and the well-being of their community.

We act with cultural sensitivity and respect in our work. We do this by engaging in a meaningful manner to ensure everyone’s voice is heard and valued. Our policies and procedures promote a culture where all abilities, backgrounds and communities are welcomed, respected, and supported. We challenge discrimination and promote inclusion in our services.
