Each standard FFI placements features:
- A standard fostering allowance paid in line with Tusla guidelines
- A link social worker who provides all the support the child, you and your family needs
- Out of hours emergency support, from our duty social worker and senior manager on call
- An education officer who will help to ensure the child has every possible opportunity to reach their full educational potential
- A children’s officer to coordinate direct support to children and promote their participation across the agency
- A team of child care workers
- Therapeutic support from our team of experienced therapists
- Carer groups which meet monthly for peer support, information sharing and development opportunities
- A comprehensive training programme
- Family activity days to provide informal opportunities for fun and building social networks
- Up to 10 nights supportive respite
