What is Fostering?

Foster carers offer a safe and stable family home for children and young people who are unable to live with their own families and are in the care of the State. There are all sorts of reasons why children come into foster care and we work with our foster carers to support them for as long as they need it.

FFI is an independent fostering agency. This means that we work in partnership with Tusla to offer fostering placements to children and young people in care across Ireland.
