Fundraising for India – A Little Goes A Long Way
As a social enterprise, Fostering First Ireland are working at all times to put people and community first. Our vision is to make a positive and lasting difference for children and families.
FFI works as part of the larger Core Assets Group based in the UK. They, along with other global stakeholders have set up a charitable foundation in India called CEAC (Centre for Excellence in Alternative Care). The aim of the centre is to Build Safer Stronger Families for Children’ through a range of family supports, and to create quality foster care systems in every state of India.
With an estimated 25 million orphans, plus more children abandoned or on the streets, FFI knows this is a very worthwhile cause to support. The centre aims to work together with a wide range of agencies to build the capacity for family support in the community, relative care and foster care development.
In order to do this, the Centre of Excellence in New Delhi needs funds to help them develop awareness and expertise across the country for the development of foster care. We are asking for your support for this very worthy cause.
Your money goes a long way in India and your donation no matter how small can make a big difference to them.
€22 equals approximately 1,600 Indian Rupee
This will fund the equivalent of:
Social Work Salary for one week
Rent and electricity for a small community centre for 1 week
Fees for 4 Foster Carers for 1 week
